Singer Jewel and husband Ty Murray have welcomed their own little cowboy.The musician and her rodeo star husband Ty Murray are the proud parents of little Kase Townes Murray, who weighed in at 3.35 kilograms."Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world," said Jewel. "We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!"The stars had been trying for a baby since 2009, following their wedding the previous year. The much-longed-for pregnancy was threatened in March, when she was hit by a truck but she and the baby emerged unscathed.But on the first day of shooting her Bravo singing competition, "Platinum Hit," Jewel found out she was pregnant. "It was so hard to keep it a secret," she said.When Jewel was five-months-pregnant she was involved in a car accident in which her vehicle was struck by a fire truck -- but thankfully she and her unborn child were unharmed.
