The pair couldn't hide their affection for one another on the red-carpet for the opening ceremony of the 37th Deauville American Film Festival in France, today.
Gazing into each other's eyes, the 28-year-old actress tenderly touched the independent film director's arm.
Dressed in a chocolate Valentino dress, featuring a full skirt complete with bow at the waist and a sheer top with bustier, the Blue Crush star looked stunning.
She paired the look nude and chocolate textured stilettos and an embroidered clutch with bow clasp, both also by Valentino, to finish off the look.
Meanwhile, Michael looked dapper in a slimline black suit, crispy white shirt and skinny tie.
Michael, 40, is currently directing Kate in Big Sur, the film adaptation of the novel by Jack Kerouac.
He has previously co-directed independent films The Astronaut Farmer and Twin Falls, Idaho.
Michael and Kate jetted out of LAX for France together, yesterday.
