Denise Welch has admitted cheating on her husband Tim Healy in 2004. The Loose Women host embarked on a steamy affair with carpenter Steve Murray after they met on BBC show Down To Earth. 'Steve was a fit 36-year-old and the sex was fantastic,' Denise, now 51, says in her autobiography Pulling Myself Together. 'End of story.'I'm not going to lie about it. He worshiped me and was great in bed; we were incredibly compatible in that department.'With my marriage being in the state that it was, obviously that had been something that had gone way off the boil. 'Sex is often the first thing to go, especially when you're with someone who you are not finding attractive at the time.' Denise, who played barmaid Natalie Barnes in Coronation Street, ended her affair with Steve when she realized she didn't want to settle down with him.'I knew that I didn't love Steve enough for him to be my life partner,' she says. 'I was incredibly fond of him, but I knew that he would probably want children and I couldn't give him children.Denise and Tim are parents to sons Matthew, 20, and Louis, 8.
